Virtual Business Office Package
The Virtual Business Office Package is very robust as it’s based on a modular structure, taking the existing features of our popular individual packages to the next level, Business Services. Whilst each individual PiaTel is a system in it’s own right, and functions perfectly on its own, the PiaTel Virtual Business Office Package will literally connect several individual PiaTel systems together into one group under the control of a PiaTel Master Controller. This is similar to creating virtual private computer networks. This seamless connectivity creates a fully integrated set of services for small- to medium-size businesses, or for organisations from 1 to 99 people. The members of the organisation can be in the same physical office or in any number of different locations anywhere in the UK, or even the world. As your business grows you just keep on adding modules to the network as required. Having low start-up costs make the Virtual Business Office the low-risk choice for your company.

The users in the Virtual Business Office Package, apart from having all the features and functions that are listed above, also gain additional features that are unique to this level of business package and that are not found in the BusyLife Business Package. Additional features include centralised billing and centralised switchboard, as well as the Announcement and Fax-On-Demand capabilities of the group system.
Virtual Business Office structure
The Virtual Business Office consists of five different types of component ‘boxes’. The Virtual Business Office Package starts with one of each of these box types. Apart from the Switchboard and Master PiaTel Controller, additional boxes of each type may be added, up to a total of 99 boxes.

1. Switchboard — The Switchboard is the central place into which most calls will come. There is only one Switchboard in any Virtual Business Office Package, regardless of how many members the organisation has. The Switchboard comes with at least one Local Access Number assigned to it, though extra numbers can be added. Callers to the Switchboard number(s) hear a greeting such as “Thank you for calling. You have reached the office of UK Plc,” followed by a list of names and extension numbers.
